Open Board Positions 2025-2026

The Mukilteo Little League is looking for new board members to fill important roles for the 2025-2026 Little League season. Mukilteo Little League is a 100% volunteer organization, and we rely on a lot of people to make this a wonderful experience for our community.

The following positions need to be filled:

Treasurer: Maintains the league’s accounting and financial records; pays the league’s monthly bills; maintains banking relationships; reconciles bank accounts; prepares financial statements and annual reports; develops annual budget in consultation with the board of directors; and ensures that annual tax returns and other state/federal reporting is completed timely. [Note: some financial acumen is desired. The league uses QuickBooks to maintain financial records. There are CPAs who can assist with the more complex financial reporting aspects of the position.]

Registrar: Oversees the league’s online registration system including set up of registration events and managing registration records; ensures players get properly registered; verifies player eligibility; manages scholarships; answers general questions about registration and league programs; and provides updates and reports to board as needed.  [Note: some technical skills are required to manage the online system, however, significant training and ongoing support will be provided.]

Player Agent - Softball:
This position is responsible for Assessments and team formation for all softball teams.  This position also coordinates the All-Star Softball teams and ensures all All-Star player documentation is properly submitted to District One for verification.

Schedule Coordinator - Baseball: Allocates fields for games/practices; responsible for the proper execution of the annual budget related to field rentals; manages field rentals with the Mukilteo School District; coordinates with other little leagues for interleague play; and creates and publishes game schedules for the league.

Safety Officer: Responsible for annual safety plan. Educate and train coaches and families on safety issues. Order safety supplies and assemble first aid kits for all teams. Record and report safety incidents.

Volunteer Coordinator: Works with coaches to ensure volunteers are backgrounded and adequately registered for each team; prints ID badges for coaches and board members; and helps recruit volunteers for the snack shack and other events.

Facilities Manager: Oversee MLL facilities at Paine Field Park including the Snack Shack building, field maintenance contract, and capital improvement projects. Note: It has been many years since MLL has had a Facilities Manager. We would like to find someone who is willing to serve as project manager for the purchase and installation of lights on the softball field.

We need new board members to carry on the tradition of little league in the Mukilteo community. We serve 500-600 children each year, and this cannot be accomplished by just a few people. We have a large board that works very well together to ensure we have a well-organized and well-run program. We are not just here to teach baseball fundamentals; we are here to raise young adults to be team players and good sportsmen, have fun, make friends for life, and experience a sense of community. This requires volunteers who want to make a difference and show the children that baseball and softball is also about a community, the Mukilteo School District Community. We have an exciting year planned and ask that you consider giving of your time and energy to help our community organization be the best it can be. Your contributions and talents are greatly needed and the satisfaction you receive in return cannot be measured.
